Those who choose to participate in our auctions agree to these terms and conditions.

Payment Methods:

In general, items paid for through our online auctions must be paid for with a PayPal account. For other local items for pickup you will be required to bring cash or a certified check for amounts in excess of $500. Amounts under $500 may be paid for with a personal check with propper identification. In some cases you may also be able to pay for your items via a major credit card at the time of pickup. Each auction will provide you terms as they apply to that auction.

Online Auctions:

MERCHANDISE RETURN POLICY

To obtain authorization to return a defective item for credit or replacement, simply contact Bid As Is within 30 days of purchase. Non-defective merchandise returns will incur a 20% restocking fee, and must also be returned within 30 days of purchase. Product boxes and/or items that have been written on or otherwise marked will not be considered for credit or replacement.

CONDITIONS
Non-defective merchandise must meet the following conditions to qualify for return acceptance.

- Merchandise must be in its original minimum inner pack quantity. Broken quantity inner packs are not returnable.
- Merchandise, merchandise packaging, and inner pack must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged.

Returns which do not meet the conditions described in this return policy will be returned and shipping cost of return will be charged.

ITEMS WITH GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES
If a purchased item includes a product guarantee or warranty, follow the instructions on the guarantee or warranty for repair or replacement.

ITEMS DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT
All merchandise damaged during shipment is covered by the shipper. If you receive merchandise damaged during shipping, please contact Bid As Is within 30 days of the date of shipment of your order, and your claim will be processed immediately. NOTE: Established procedures by UPS, U.S.Parcel Post, and trucking lines, must be complied with or they may deny your claim.

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
Inspect each box for signs of damage such as crushed, torn, open, unseamed tape, etc. If you do find outward damage, sign the receipt with the words "Exception - Damage." For United Parcel Service deliveries, contact

Bid As Is and give the invoice number or the shipment involved. Explain the damage involved, number of cartons received and whether you desire a replacement or credit to your account. This information will prepare us for a claim report from the carrier.

Hidden Damage by carrier:
If you should receive a shipment delivered by carrier that shows no visible damage, but upon inspection you discover damage due to evident rough handling, call Bid As Is within 30 days of invoice date and report the damage. Bid As Is will issue credit or replacement at your request.

SHORTAGES
If you receive an order and find it has not been filled completely:

Check your invoice. If the item does not appear on your invoice, be sure to advise Bid As Is

when you contact us.

Thoroughly check the cartons and packing. Small items may be under the packing material. Upon receipt, check the condition of the cartons. If there is a shortage due to tampering, a claim must be placed with the carrier. Follow the same procedure as if there is damage.
If there is no tampering and an actual shortage exists, contact Bid As Is. We'll need to know the invoice number, number of cartons received, the missing item number, and whether you prefer credit or a replacement.
Bid As Is will investigate the shortage. When the item is confirmed as not shipped, it will be shipped or credit will be issued , whichever you prefer.

Live Radio Auctions:

Auction time is July 24, 2011 from 12pm - 7pm, live on air, on Thunder Country FM 100.3 FM, in Florida City, Florida.

Auction site is Located at the Mutineer Restaurant inside the Wharf Lounge, "here and after referred to as LOCATION." Located at 11 SE 1st Avenue, Florida City, Florida.

1. Winning bidders will be notified of their status on the day of the auction.
2. Winning bidders may pick up their item at the "location", the day of event or during normal business hours at the Homestead/Florida City Chamber office no later than 5PM Wednesday, July 27th. Some restrictions apply.
3. Payment, all items must be paid for at time of pick up.
4. Payment may be made by Master Card, Visa, AMEX, check or cash.
5. All items NOT picked up by 5PM Wednesday, July 27th, whether paid for or not, will go to the next highest bidder, unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
6. After acceptance of item, all purchases are final.

Live On Site Auctions:

Privacy & Registrations:

Your personal information and emails are never provided to third parties other than to the extent necessary to assure proper delivery of items you win in the course of bidding. For items to be shipped we will provide certain information to the shipper. If your item is to be picked up at a designated location, we will provide your information as needed to identify you as the proper winner of the item(s) you purchased. If a PayPal transaction was involved we will not be in possession of your credit card information.

Your registration is also a subscription to our news letter which will keep you informed of future auctions or other special events of the Homestead - Florida City Chamber of Commerce as related to this web site only.
